What term am I?

Lancia Fulvia 1.6 HF Coupe Rallye "Fanalone" done for the first week of Viscom, this last term. This was when I was on my Lancia HF streak, followed by the Stratos and Delta. Yummm. One day I will finish my Lancia composition..

What term am I?
I guess I'm between my 5th and 6th term.. Actually, I've been between my 5th and 6th term for quite some time now. Ha. But technically, if add it up.. technically, it's my um.. 6th? I'm trying not to attach a number, but I can't help it. Since time = money.. and money = time. I don't want to be here forever, but I also want to be here long enough where I'll feel comfortable leaving.
I'm going to say it again- I'm excited for Mobility..! On account of the fact that I haven't been in studio since before I've been "between 5th and 6th term".
But all has been well.
I'm quite concerned about my capabilities however. I feel as though I haven't sparked enough creativity to be better prepared for a fresh round of conceptualizing.
We shall see.. handle it!

PS. I just recently got my 24 Fitness membership back,
after wasting 3 terms worth and then cancelling.
Let's try this again and see if I can keep the gym-to-school
routine throughout the term!

One day, One room

I was watching my daily dose of House reruns last night and ended up watching the few episodes that happened to dig deep into House's past. He's still such a mystery but I now know why he decided to become a doctor, considering his misanthropy. I also know why he dislikes his father so.
Season 3, Informed Consent, Son of Coma Guy, and One Day, One Room were all powerful in their message. It had me thinking about all the lives that have touched mine and that mine has touched.. All the lives interwoven in some way, no matter how little the connection or short of a duration. And they simply skim the surface, barely tangent to a dam holding back a body of stories and memories. The sad thing is, that one might be completely oblivious to the collision. Or perhaps it is also a beautiful thing?

That's what life is- it's a series of rooms
and who we get stuck in those rooms with,
adds up to what our lives are.
-Eve, Ep.312

PS. Hugh Laurie, I am such a fan.
PPS. Kathryn Winnick was fantastic!

To Be or Not To Be

The first week of break! Unfortunately, I haven't really been participating in all the exciting after parties. I don't think I've quite left school mode just yet. I just want to get things done! Kind of a bummer though because I'll probably be kicking myself, come the weekend before term.
I've been doing some life-planning. You know.. where you sit down and try to figure out all your classes up to graduation, making sure you take certain classes at the right times so that you allow ample room for failure.. I mean success ;)
You know, life-planning?
I have, no doubt, hit a lot of dilemmas counting should-I's and could-I's.. would-I's?? It's always difficult to be torn at a fork in the road. Especially if there is something to be lost versus something else to be gained (vague, I know). I think I have most of it figured out. Actually this is probably about the 7th time I've thought I had it all figured out, until I hit another break. People move, yes? Things change! Post-grad life-planning? That, is going to take up a lot more space in my planner + a whole lot of crossing out and revising.
Anyhow, thanks to friends (or a friend) I've managed to enjoy a break here and there! It looks like a family weekend, then one more week of doodles and noodling my book. Then some Me time! Then.. Mobility!

An accidental slip? Or the aftermath of a broken heart?

People Move

Yay for grad shows! Art Center grad shows never get old. Maybe they will.. but I'm always looking forward to them. I saw most of it yesterday while they were setting up, but I thought I'd make another round tonight. (I'm glad I did!) I've snapped some personal faves.
Some of the people that I've always seen around the school (some even before I started Art Center) are graduating, seemingly all so suddenly! A lot of them have helped me grow and seen me through some good and bad times. As much as I want to keep them around and not have to miss the running into them in the hallways, they have so much talent and character to slave long nights in the dungeon (computer lab) any longer!
So cheers to the graduates!

People move.
They also don't change.

Bone Claws & the Fingernails of a Bag Lady

I watched Wolverine last night (or this morning, rather) online, while again looking for any excuse to not drift off into dreamworld.
I loved it! I mean, despite the very confusing, even shocking bits of partially-edited CGI (the leaked, unfinished version), I must say that I am once again
convinced that
superhero movies still have their magic. (To a leecher's defense, I couldn't quite complain. Even better, the raw-film parts provided a rather entertaining behind the-scenes look into the making of..)
I was particularly interested in one gorgeous, GORGEOUS element.. one named Daniel Henney. *Squeal* No doubt, Hugh Jackman is one smooth stud, as well as Ryan Reynolds. I wonder why there weren't any notable females hm..
I was anticipating more of Wolverine and his brother's aging, between the time they ran away and when they became soldiers.. Nonetheless. The artsy sequence of Wolverine and Sabertooth charging through battlefield after field was great. Some cliches and maybe not absolutely thorough, but it's got me curious about future X-men Origins series. Every character has such a great background and story to tell.

Last crit of the term- it's officially over!
Today was full of smiles as my classmates in studio also gave their final
presentations. Final days are always nice- everyone dressed in their slacks and pretty pictures up on walls..
Some of us went out for sushi, yum!
Good times.
